Dr. Nicole Lemoncelli

Dr. Lemoncelli is a native of Northeastern Pennsylvania. She studied biology at the University of Scranton before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now Salus University, in Philadelphia.

After graduation, she completed a one-year residency in ocular pathology at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland. She then remained in the VA health care system for three years, working in a Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Canton, where she collaborated with other medical professionals to provide eye care for veterans.

In 2006, Dr. Lemoncelli moved to Atlanta while her husband completed an ophthalmology fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery. The couple later moved to Nashville, where Dr. Lemoncelli began working full-time.

Before founding Lemoncelli Eyecare in 2023, she spent 15 years at Ducklo Eyecare. During that time, she built lasting relationships with patients while providing full-scope optometric care, using advanced technology, and fitting a range of contact lenses, including options for astigmatism and presbyopia.

Today, Dr. Lemoncelli leads our practice with a commitment to attentive, approachable care. Whether a patient is due for a routine exam, needs help managing an eye health concern, or is looking for the right contact lenses or eyewear, she works to make each visit informative and comfortable.

Dr. Lemoncelli lives in Nashville with her husband, Terry; their three daughters, Stella, Josie, and Norah; and their two dogs, Ginger and Pepper. Family dinners are an important part of life at home. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking, and reading a good novel.
